The level design was always unique and special in virtually every place you went to. The first Spyro was very ambitious and good, the second improved and was better, but Year of The Dragon is quite outstanding. In the days of platformers and Mario-look alikes wanting a piece of the fame and glory pie, Spyro always had the best potential to capitalize on itself when it came to levels.
